A Bit About Me
My name is Amanda Pearce. I am a fully qualified, insured and accredited counsellor. I am a compassionate and down-to-earth person who has always been keen to connect with, understand and support others.
I began my experience of face to face client work 9 years ago, and I have worked within several counselling organisations prior to opening my private practice in January 2018, where I have been able to work with a wide range of people and issues.
In 2021, I was proud to be awarded accreditation from the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy. This means that I have gone through an in-depth assessment process, evidencing high standards in my experience, knowledge and development in counselling and psychotherapy.
Alongside private practice, I have recently co-created Mind & Mood Therapy Boxes, which offer mental health support and gifts to people in their own homes.
I am committed to continuing my professional development and I do so by attending regular workshops, training days, and keeping myself up to date with relevant theory and research.
